Flower Arranging
Flower Arranging Skill
Sims can do Flower Arrangements on the Flower Arranging Table. The “Violets are Blue Flower Arranging Table” can be purchased from buy mode for 250 Simoleons. Sims can keep flowers in, and remove flowers from, the Flower Arranging Table. Having flowers in the Sim’s Inventory will reduce the cost to make Flower Arrangements.
After finishing their Flower Arrangements Sims can take photos of their Flower Arrangements or sell their arrangements for Simoleons. After some time Flower Arrangements will decay and become wilted and will lose their value. Sims can change the vase the Flower Arrangement is kept in.
Flower Arranging is a 10 level Skill. It can be improved by making Flower Arrangements or by reading a Flower Arranging Skill Book. Being Inspired will boost Sim’s Flower Arranging Skill progress. As Sims level up their Flower Arranging Skill they can unlock more arrangements and can scent their arrangements with different flowers.

Scented Arrangements have different effects. The following table shows the effect that each Scented Arrangement has.

Snapdragon | “Rude News”, “How Dare They”, and “Shut Up” will make Sims Angry. Thought bubbles will come from the flower arrangement and Sims will yell at it. | Angry +2 DISRESPECT What’s with all the talk back? It’s quite aggravating. 2 hours |
Christmas Rose | “Feeling Drowsy” will make Sims sleepy and they will immediately head to a bed or couch and go to sleep. Their needs will be filled and will remain static until they are woken up. When they wake up their needs will drop slightly. | [No Moodlet] |
