Social Media Career
The Social Media Career came to The Sims 4 with the City Living expansion pack.
The Social Media Career is a Work From Home Career, but you do have the option to send your Sim off to work.
To progress in the Social Media Career Sims will need to skill up their Charisma and Comedy or Mischief Skills as well as gain followers on Social Media. Throughout the Social Media Career Sims will unlock further interactions to help them gain more followers. Their daily task is to Update Social Media Status. The Work From Home Tasks include: Get Focused, Watch Funny Videos on Sim.tv for 2 hours, Check-In at a Gym, Eat Food at the Spice Festival, Be Funny with 5 Different Sims, Do Mischief on 5 Different Sims, Level Up Writing Skill, Level Up Charisma Skill, Level Up Video Gaming Skill, Update Social Network Profile 2 Times, and have 150 Social Network Followers.
At Level 4 the Social Media Career branches into Internet Personality and Public Relations. Internet Personality requires Sims to have a lot more followers than Public Relations, but also unlocks interactions that help Sims to gain more followers more quickly. Both branches require Sims to improve their Charisma Skill. The Work From Home Tasks include: Get playful, Watch Funny Videos on Sim.tv for 2 Hours, and Update Social Network Profile 2 Times.
The Internet Personality Branch requires Sims to improve their Video Gaming, and Comedy or Mischief Skills. Their Daily Task is to Share Jokes with Followers, or Troll teh Forums. The Work From Home Tasks include: Get Focused, Be Funny with 5 Different Sims, Do Mischief on 5 Different Sims, Record Rant at the Computer while Angry, Livestream for 4 hours, Make Money Advertising a Minor Product, and Give Energized Speech Uptown.
The Public Relations Branch requires Sims to improve their Writing Skill. Their Daily Task is to Network with Journalists. The Work From Home Tasks include: Level Up Charisma Skill, Level Up Writing Skill, Get to Know 3 Sims in the Arts Quarter, Brighten the Day of Co-Workers twice, Chat about Work Twice with Co-Workers, Have 1500 Social Network Followers, and Write a Trending Blog for Followers.
